Hi, I’m Annie O’Sullivan and I wrote a book. It’s called Can You Hear Me Now? and while my story of abuse survival has been around for a few years now, the full story of my life was just recently published as a full print and digital book.
I served in the United States Marine Corps and following a hospital stay and two years of disability I logged ten years of counseling. I have since earned two Masters degrees and have a rewarding career in land management. My own successful family has grown to include multiple grandchildren, dogs, cats and several fish – all happy and well.

I’m sorry for what you have been through. Thank you so much for dropping by my blog and reblogging xo
I too have taken to writing to deal with the issues. While I wrote as a mother’s perspective after my daughter was abused, I couldn’t even begin to imagine what she actually went through herself. May all who are affected finally find peace. A.L. Daniels- (Author)Breaking the Silence

I have begun a writing project here in Ireland in which I aim to get more people talking about life crises that they are going through, would you have a look please and you might consider contributing? I am an ordinary father of 3, manic depressive who has found writing to be a benefit to me. http://penrelief.wordpress.com/
Thanks for your time and best wishes in life

Thanks Annie. Sounds like we have a lot in common. My abuse started when I was 3, then continued for many years. I, too, have a book that talks about my extreme child abuse and my survival.
Share the name of your book sister! We have to stick together XO Annie

But the dam scares of my past still get in my way a bit.
Lisa, I also returned to school late in life. When you finish and you go thru the doors to graduate, revel in the moment. Everyday tell yourself, I can do this. I will do this. I AM NOT MY PAST. I AM MY FUTURE. You are you know. You are moving forward, doing good things, Make good memories of happiness and success to heal over those scars and know that there is a world of people who have your back right here. Namaste~~~~
