About Me

Annie OSullivan sm

Hi, I’m Annie O’Sullivan and I wrote a book. It’s called Can You Hear Me Now? and while my story of abuse survival has been around for a few years now, the full story of my life was just recently published as a full print and digital book.

I served in the United States Marine Corps and following a hospital stay and two years of disability I logged ten years of counseling. I have since earned two Masters degrees and have a rewarding career in land management. My own successful family has grown to include multiple grandchildren, dogs, cats and several fish – all happy and well.

  1. I read a lot of interesting articles here. Probably you spend a lot of time writing, i
know how to save you a lot of work, there is an online tool
that creates unique, SEO friendly articles in minutes, just search in google – laranitas free content source

  2. I too have taken to writing to deal with the issues. While I wrote as a mother’s perspective after my daughter was abused, I couldn’t even begin to imagine what she actually went through herself. May all who are affected finally find peace. A.L. Daniels- (Author)Breaking the Silence

  3. I have begun a writing project here in Ireland in which I aim to get more people talking about life crises that they are going through, would you have a look please and you might consider contributing? I am an ordinary father of 3, manic depressive who has found writing to be a benefit to me. http://penrelief.wordpress.com/

  4. Thanks Annie. Sounds like we have a lot in common. My abuse started when I was 3, then continued for many years. I, too, have a book that talks about my extreme child abuse and my survival.

I have no idear what to say, but I think you are an inspiration , and for me thats needed.
I came from alot of disfunction and some abuse, and have had to and still struggle with my confidance, mostly about Education I returned back to school in my 40 and worked to get into the nursing program for my ( LPN ) and i have been so charged to fight my way to complete this. But the dam scares of my past still get in my way a bit.

    • Lisa, I also returned to school late in life. When you finish and you go thru the doors to graduate, revel in the moment. Everyday tell yourself, I can do this. I will do this. I AM NOT MY PAST. I AM MY FUTURE. You are you know. You are moving forward, doing good things, Make good memories of happiness and success to heal over those scars and know that there is a world of people who have your back right here. Namaste~~~~
